Telephone Counselling & Consultation

Telephone Counselling & Consultation

On Monday, March 23, St. Clair Child & Youth Services will launch a new Telephone Counselling & Consultation Service.

For those children, youth (ages 0-17), and families who require mental health service you can access this FREE service by calling us at (519) 337-3701.

What to expect: An Intake Worker will complete a brief telephone interview to gather key information. Those requiring a counselling or consultation session will receive a call from a therapist the same day. Your counsellor will provide a therapeutic session over the phone based on your individual needs and unique situation.

Please note that this is not a crisis service. For those who are in crisis please attend the Emergency Department nearest you or call 911.

As the lead agency for Children's Mental Health in Sarnia-Lambton we take our responsibility to support our community seriously and although it took us a few days to develop this new service we believe it will help fill the gap during these challenging times.

Please note that as a result of COVID-19 safety precautions our Walk-In Clinics and County Mental Health Clinics are on hold however, our services remain OPEN.  To schedule an appointment or find out more, please contact our Intake Dept. at (519) 337-3701.
