We are looking for Treatment Foster Parents:
- who believe that their unique skills can meet the challenges of teens age 13+
- Who can develop relationships with youth that sustains their emotional well-being while preparing them for adulthood
- who value membership ina professional treatment team
- who can hang in there when the going gets tough
- who want to help youth with special behavioural and emotional needs
- who has one parent available

PHLOCK TO THE DOCK 2011

If you're dreaming of Caribbean breezes and tropical music, then you won't want to miss the 5th Annual Phlock To The Dock....a Tropical Rock Music Festival being hosted by the local Parrot Heads Club on June 24 and 25!
This weekend-long RAIN OR SHINE event takes place at the Dow People Place, on Sarnia Bay, and features:
Weekend Pass ($60.00): Duc D'Orleans Riverboat Cruise with a Boarding Party featuring IDENTICAL STRANGERS
Saturday Festival Pass ($25.00) Live Acts on Stage featuring KD MOORE; JOHNNY RUSSLER AND THE BEACH BUM BAND; and CARIBBEAN BLUE BAND.

ROCK FOR HOPE Sarnia
We are pleased to announce ROCK FOR HOPE Sarnia, on June 24 and June 25 at the Imperial Theatre.
This is a series of fundraising concerts designed to financially assist agencies who provide front line services with troubled and at risk youth in our community. This weekend event will promote awareness of the services and programs available to help youth and to decrease the stigma and taboos associated with Mental Illness.
Musical Entertainment features BRK: A Tribute to CREAM, plus an array of talented local singers.
Agencies who will receive funding include: ST. CLAIR CHILD & YOUTH SERVICES, Canadian Mental Health Association: Lambton County Branch, Family Counselling Centre, Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, Big Brothers of Sarnia-Lambton, and Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.

The Board of Directors of St. Clair Child & Youth Services invite everyone to attend our OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, 5:00 p.m., at our main campus, 129 Kendall Street, Point Edward. Learn about our new services, tour the new 'wing' of our building, and enjoy a social time with refreshments.
Annual General Meeting will follow, at 6:30 p.m., in the Board Room.

TAKE A STAND Sarnia Lambton

As part of Children's Mental Health Week, we are encouraging the community to get involved in the upcoming 'Take A Stand' Rally and Film Night on Wednesday May 4th, beginning with the Rally, 6:00 p.m., at the Sarnia City Hall. After the rally, there is a Film Night at 7:00 p.m., at the Sarnia Public Library (hosted by the Children's Mental Health Advocacy Committee of Sarnia Lambton). The film is entitled: "Fighting Their Fears: Child & Youth Anxiety".
